HPTO37
Features
The Future of Industrial Clutches
The new HPTO Gen3 clutches offer greater flexibility through smaller, cost-efficient models that excel at even higher HP ranges than their Gen2 counterparts. The tapered bearing design combines transverse and direct drive versions, increasing belt load capacity. The updated hydraulics integrate the sequence valve and improved ramping strategies to reduce clutch wear, all while advancing engagement robustness and machine up-time. Assisting this powerful new addition to the PT Tech repertoire, the updated clutch controls platform includes an improved energy bucket, dynamic engagements, Bluetooth connectivity, data logging, remote connection, and even a way to communicate digitally. The new HPTOLink App connects the user to data logging, reprogramming, and remote connection for downloading files and emailing. This new addition lends PT Tech diagnostics to your entire service team and offers a new level of support to machines in distant countries.
Clutch Controller
The HPTO® microprocessor-based clutch controller eliminates the typical service problems that are associated with operator abuse. The patented adaptive start-up sequence brings the driven load smoothly up to engine speed, automatically compensating for the power required, and optimizing peak engine torque. This means the HPTO37 can start equipment with significant inertia or even under partially jammed conditions. The HPTO37 package increases equipment reliability and profitability by tracking, and even preventing, operator abuse. The controller is also SAE J1939 capable allowing it to connect into the machine’s CAN BUS system for both clutch and engine data management.
